Explosive Fastpitch teams up with E.L.I.T.E Training Performance to bring you a dynamic SOFTBALL TRAINING
PROGRAM: If
you are looking to increase your speed, strength, agility, and power then Elite Training Performance is the place
for you. This program is specifically designed to increase movements that will relate to you on the field.
We will do movements and power actions that will build your core strength and increase your speed. Running
mechanics will be covered and implemented. Rotational strength and explosiveness will increase the athlete’s
stability and force production. The program has four phases for each workout (lasting one hour).
1. Active dynamic warm-up 2.
Movement activites (speed, power, agility, rotational strength and stability, balance, coordination) 3. Core stability
and strength 4. Cool down
Each of these phases will be covered in every session. It is our goal
with this training program to increase your sprinting skills, agility movements, core strength, rotational power, balance,
and overall athleticism. Specific work will be done to strengthen the rotator cuff muscles and decrease potential injuries.
Luke Chronister- Certified Trainer Luke Chronister was a three sport athlete
(football, wrestling, baseball) in high school. He continued his athletic career at Baldwin-Wallace
College in football. While at Baldwin-Wallace, he was a captain and first team All Conference
player. He lead the conference in tackles his senior season and received All Northwest District honors. Over
the past 3 years, he has trained a variety of athletes from Irish dancers, figure skaters, baseball,
softball, basketball, volleyball, and football players. He focuses on sprinting mechanics,
core strength, NFL combine testing preparation, body mechanics corrections, running mechanics, sprinting mechanics, strength
development, and strength training. He has worked for Velocity Sports Performance, and is certified
by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) with a specialization in Strength and Conditioning (CSCS).
